We're a small team and we read every message. Most issues can be resolved with the FAQ below — but if you don't find your answer, email us and we'll get back to you within two business days.

To help us resolve your issue faster, include:
Open Sparkzy and go to Profile → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm twice. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your profile, comments, friends, saved facts, quiz attempts, badges, and any active streak are removed. Backups may retain a copy for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
If you can't sign in to delete your account, email loqzcorp@gmail.com from the address linked to the account and we'll handle it manually.
On the sign-in screen of the app, switch to the Sign in tab and tap Forgot password? below the password field. Enter the email tied to your Sparkzy account and we’ll send you a reset link.
Open the email on the same device you have Sparkzy installed on, and tap the link — it’ll open the app and prompt you to pick a new password (8+ characters). After that you’re signed back in.
Apple only returns your name on the very first sign-in for a given Apple ID. If you accidentally signed in once before we captured the name, you can fix this from Settings → Apple ID → Sign-In & Security → Apps Using Apple ID → Sparkzy → Stop using Apple ID, then sign in again. Alternatively, set your name in Profile → Change display name (one-time change).
Yes — once per account. Open Profile and tap the pencil (edit) button to the right of your name. Names must be 1–30 characters and may contain letters, numbers, spaces, periods, dashes, and underscores. Each name must be unique. Once your one-time change is used, the pencil dims and tapping it explains the change has already been spent.
Sparkzy Pro is $4.99 / month, billed by Apple or Google.
We don't cancel subscriptions for you — cancellation is handled by Apple or Google:
You'll keep Pro features for the remainder of the current billing period after cancelling.
In most cases this resolves itself within a minute or two — our subscription pipeline confirms the purchase with Apple or Google and unlocks Pro. If it's been longer:
If none of the above works, contact us with your transaction receipt (Apple emails one; Google shows it in Play Store → Subscriptions).
All your existing saves stay — we never delete user content when a subscription ends. You can keep viewing, sharing, and unsaving any of them — and tapping a saved card opens it at the top of your Feed so you can like or comment on it.
The only restriction is on new saves: while you're above the 30-fact free limit, the bookmark on any unsaved fact opens the paywall instead of saving. Unsave items to drop back to 29 or fewer to start saving new facts again, or resubscribe to Pro to remove the cap.
You'll see a yellow banner inside Saved Favorites that tells you exactly how many to unsave to get back under the limit.
Refunds are processed by Apple and Google according to their policies. To request a refund:
If the platform grants a refund, your Pro entitlement may be revoked immediately.
We do not send marketing pushes.
A streak continues if you earn at least 1 XP on any UTC day. If you skip a full UTC day:
Levels are derived from total XP automatically — Level 50 is the cap.
Inside any fact's comments sheet, tap the ellipsis (•••) next to a comment and choose Report. Select the category (spam, harassment, hate, sexual, violence, misinformation, or other) and add any optional details. Once a comment crosses our report threshold, its content is hidden from the community behind a generic reveal panel. We review every report and act on objectionable content within 24 hours by removing it and ejecting the user who posted it.
Tap any user's display name to open their profile, then tap Block and confirm. Blocking instantly hides all of their comments from you, removes any existing friendship between you, and prevents either side from sending the other a friend request. If the user is posting objectionable content, please also report it so we can remove it for everyone.
To review everyone you've blocked — and unblock them — open Profile → Account → Blocked users. You can also unblock from their profile directly.
Unfriend: open your friend's profile and tap the green Friends button, then confirm. You'll be removed from each other's friend lists; either of you can send a new friend request later.
Cancel a pending request: open the person's profile and tap Request sent, then confirm. The request is withdrawn and the friend-request notification is removed from their inbox.
Comments are automatically screened for profanity, slurs, and other abusive language before they are posted. If your comment trips the filter, edit the wording and try again. Sparkzy has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior — repeat or serious violations lead to removal from the Service, as described in our Terms of Service.
We don't ship an in-app data export today. If you want a copy of the data we hold about you, email loqzcorp@gmail.com from your registered email and we'll send you a JSON dump.
We collect your account info, your learning activity (quizzes, XP, streaks, saved facts, comments, friends, badges), an optional push notification token, and your subscription status. We do not collect location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or any data for cross-app tracking. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
